2021 Virtual Inclusion Conference

Summer Virtual Inclusion Conference Cancelled

For a variety of reasons (Zoom fatigue, low registration numbers, lack of technology resources for students, etc.), the MOACAC Inclusion, Access, and Success Committee is cancelling this summer's Virtual Inclusion Conference. Please look for details to come regarding other opportunities during the school year from the Inclusion, Access and Success Committee, including incentives for students to attend the events. We want to be able to help Missouri families learn how to navigate the college experience successfully through a diversity-inclusive lens. If you have any questions, please contact Amber Mitchell at [email protected].

The Inclusion, Access and Success (IAS) Committee strives to advance the Missouri Association for College Admission Counseling's (MOACAC) commitment to inclusion for under-served students, their parents, and the educational professionals who guide them. Thus, we are proud to present this year's Virtual Inclusion Conference. This FREE two-day event is open to all high school students and parents interested in learning more about how to successfully navigate the college experience through a diversity-inclusive lens. Topics include:

  • Support Resources for Students of Color
  • Navigating Oppressive Situations on Campus
  • Leaning Into Discomfort
  • How to Bridge the Financial Gap
  • College Basics 101
  • What Colleges Look for in an Applicant
  • And More!

Students and Parents will have the ability to choose which break-out sessions they would like to attend.

Goals of the Conference

  • Assess and advocate for the needs of under-served students and their families
  • Provide programs pertaining to college access and success
  • Provide college access and success resources to students and their families

Inclusion Conference Scholarship
