Show-Me Virtual Spring College Fairs

MOACAC is excited to announce our partnership with StriveScan to host three Show-Me Virtual Spring College Fairs: 2 fairs for freshman students and one fair focused on current and future transfer students. These fairs will resemble more of the “browsing” format of a traditional college fair. We will also offer a few specially designed panel sessions on college planning and financial aid topics. StriveScan’s 6x6 Virtual College Fair format exposes students to a wide range of colleges in a lively and safe environment.

The Show-Me Virtual Spring College Fairs is for all Missouri students (and for colleges that wish to recruit students from Missouri).

In Memory of Braxton Rethwisch

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Braxton Rethwisch, For more than 50 years, Braxton served as an Admission Counselor at Central Methodist College, his alma mater, lovingly ushering in generations of prospective students. Braxton served MOACAC in various capacities over the years, most notably as our long-time legislative chair and champion who advocated for students and our profession in both Jefferson City and Washington, D.C.

Braxton leaves behind his wife, Judy, his children, Carter and Christine (Patrick) Nigh, and several grandchildren.

Good friends and colleagues, Diane Drilling, Drury University, and Mary Giunta, Affton High School, have shared their thoughts about Braxton's impact on their lives here.
